Re: Ideas: a whole bunch of them

As long as we're all brain-storming, I need to figure a way to pack a micro-singularity into a bullet. Stable or unstable? Goodness, unstable. Don't want it sinking into the core of a planet, just want it to remove a generous chunk of the enemy and then vanish from existence! Ah. I think I se...

Re: Ideas: a whole bunch of them

Yeah, the Hook is basicly a Bouncing Betty, except more high tech, and it hangs in plain sight to be avoided or preemptively shot. I think you might want something more like a low-profile proximity mine. I'm also a fan of caltrops. And mono-wire traps. The Lampreys also kinda remind my of an old ide...

Re: Äußer-Kern Arms releases SIR-25 into ESUS test markets!

In terms of the rifle's robustness - well, it's designed to get dropped in crates out of high orbit into live combat zones and still work, so I'd hope so. XD Different forces differently applied to different parts of the weapon. Much different. And the gun probably won't be dropped out of orbit too...

Re: Äußer-Kern Arms releases SIR-25 into ESUS test markets!

Not bad. Not bad at all. I assume the slug thrower is a chemical firearm? Is the firing chamber armoured to protect the user if said chamber explodes? Is it reinforced to handle, *ahem*, "enhanced" propellant? Say, antimatter-spiked chemical propellant? What about antimatter-enhanced drago...

Re: Operation Guardian's Reach

I can't really do that - I really work best if I just sit down and write it all at once. Here I simply had far too much material to cover, and I think I'm coming down with a bug, which makes it hard to get into the proper frame of mind. As for quality, Sskiss, there are published authors you put to ...

Re: Operation Guardian's Reach

And Kanuskistan, stop saying your post is crap. I've read it and it seems just fine to me. Problem is I know I could do better given more time - what I just posted is basically a summary of a good post I had planned to make, but don't have the time or energy to compose right now, and I refuse to le...

Well, I have a TG from CW about Kyoto... from 1659 days ago.

I kinda doubt the thread still exists.

Re: Operation Guardian's Reach

No, I've just been busy iRL.

But I do want to know if there are any windows befor I catch up.

KAG don't trust doors, and I'd rather not come in through a wall - never know what vitals or volatiles might be hidden within that GRIDAR mass-density mapping might not catch.

Re: Operation Guardian's Reach

There's also the fact that, if you post first, you can't comment on, or react to, the actions the other guy is going to make in his 'parallel' post, only what he's already posted. Either he can respond to/reference you as you were as of your last post, or he can make assumptions(which is godmodding)...
