oh, AND no one ever said you had to have two seperate hulls. Look at the zoram class! It's a long, single hulled battleship, with two long and thick rails on each side of the hull. Or the valiance... It mechanically splits itself into two hulls when ready to fire. Or look at the macross SDF-1.. Same...
