I have a question before I retry, could I re-edit my previous entries or do I have to start from scratch?

As far as I know, there is no rule saying you can't expand on previous tests. However, it is probably a better idea to repost them, rather than editing the originals.

Not a tester, by the way - mods have the final say.

^^

This, though there is no rule saying you can't edit the posts in question, those stories need a bit more then a minor edits and a few inserted paragraphs. You'll probably want to invest the time in a rewrite for the extra marks.

If I was told or it was implied that I should treat them more as samples of writing then as posts I'd expand on them. I'd be more then willing to take another test.
I made this same mistake when I first joined the ESUS oh so many years ago. :)

And as far as the above statements are concerned, you should really start from scratch.
