Application: The Armed Federation of Xenohumanity

The Armed Federation of Xenohumanity seeks entrance into these hallowed halls!
A short history: The Terrans were torn. Breakthroughs in genetic modification in an isolated scientific colony resulted in a population of draconic hominids known as "Drakon". With the recent destruction of the long-abandoned homeworld of Gaia Superior dividing the populace between clinging to faith or looking to science, war was inevitable. However, the Terran government was shocked when the Drakon and their supporters either seceeded their colonies from the Terran Federation of Colonial Nations or simply moved to one of the newly self-declared nation's worlds. The Terrans, clinging to their faith in the Ascentians (a group of species, including Eldar, Alteans, and other "higher" races), allowed the "heathens" to declare independence without much fuss. However, the now-weakened Terrans were quickly conquered by their neighbors, with the more open-minded nations and federations seeing the Drakon as "a necessary step towards the end of xenophobia". The Terrans and their faith were blown into the galactic clouds of time, and Xenohumanity set to work building itself into a worthy power. However, "worthy power" meant stockpiling weapons and using their large population of scientists and willing workers to develop and deploy new military technologies, and within 25 years, their arsenal matched that of their neighbors. They were officialy a "star power". Now, seeking to develop itself as a military force, not only in name and, in isolated LethalOps incidents, action, they sought to join a larger power to aid them in establishing true galactic legitimacy...
Species: While humans make up about 65% of the population, the group of species known as the 'Xenans' make up the remainder, and are the most highly represented in both colonial and federal governments. Drakon Xeno (35%), also known as "Dragons", are seemingly typical 'dragon-men', and are often used as the front-line troops for combat, seeing an in-species military enrollment rate of about 80% and serving as the non-human face for Xenohuman foreign relations.
Government System: Xenohumanity is a militarized federation. While each system retains it's own moderate levels of independance, with self-governance and a loose presence from the Federal Governance, the worlds that identify themselves as Xenohuman are kept in check by an extensive military presence. The Federal Governance, also known as XenoAdmin, operates both as a standard centralized government and as a joint command for XenoArmy, XenoNavy, LethalOps, and other branches of the Xenohuman Military.
