Imperium of Terra Commission

Alright, I am going to venture in here a bit.

I have two flags that I would like done by our good friend AZ.

One is the flag of my nation the Imperium of Terra:



(Yes its Albania's, but its hella cool!)

Then, there is the flag for the rebel/possible future nation:

Admittedly I did all of 10 seconds work on this; Wikipedia has SVG format (scalable vector graphics, or so very good) for its flags, so it was a simple matter of grabbing that and telling PSP to make it 800 pixels wide.

At any rate, it's a bugger to find a large, good Earth, and more so to reproduce it in vector.

Well, figuring you could use a B/W filter, I just tried rendering a sphere textured with a map of Earth, but quickly discovered the view in the Terran Empire flag is quite unnatural, and couldn't find a decent angle with the Americas and Eurasia.

Thanks for trying anyhow. Indeed, all the TE symbols are small. Apparently the trekky graphics folks have yet to discover the holy vector.

It kinda makes you wonder what is on the back side of the globe if almost all of Earth's geography is already shown.

Not you so much as Star Trek. Are you dead set on that exact symbol, or is it open to interpretation?

I am open to interpretation. I just want something harsh and will reflect the intentions of the rebel group.
