Well, as it turns out Dell's Paint Shop Pro 8 isn't all that particular about where it's installed, and will apply itself just as happily to my Lenovo as it did to my laptop. I haven't actually done any editing yet, but it is now installed and it has started up at least once. Someone give me an order so I can take it for a spin! :D
