NovaConstitution-class

It was a ship of a golden era, a symbol of prosperity and the most efficient exploration vessel of it's time. The ancient Constitution-class flies again, as proudly as before.

Modern records have shown us much about ships utilized by the ancient civilization known as the United Federation of Planets. The so named Constitution-class was heralded once as the "workhorse" of the fleet.

The Federated Stellar Republics of Wormia recently came across a derelict one of vessels, namely, a one "USS Defiant," and have since towed it back to Wormian space. It is in remarkably good condition, and was used to be a design template for the Wormian Constitution-class.

The reinstituted vessel has been named the NovaConstitution-class, and has various design differences. For one, it could efficiently clean the original Constitution's various chronometers. It also features an improved sensor array and bridge interface.

I notice you haven't done anything to the nacelles.

It certainly looks better than the normal ST drivel people use. It looks more 'solid.' Like it at least has a chance of taking a hit.

Actually, I was going to put some reinforcement beams on the nacelle pylons and the neck. I even conteplated putting a bracer girder between the pylons. But.... I'll save those for Wormia's constitution refit.

I agree with it looking mo "solid" the problem with TOS was that it looked so fragile.

Even though it IS still a saucerhead, it's a decent saucerhead.
