The Sskiss have organic nanites. There are basically organic, but have been genetically, metallurgically and crystalline modified. They are currently only used for defence (armour) and medical purposes - mainly for rapid healing in the more organic versions.

im currently trying to devlop a Bio weapon that eats all forms of Metrials inculdeing Organic things.....i just can keep it contained to say if its a sucsess or not (it ate one of my planets last month befor it died in the vacum of space)

yeah...nanites - usually being the size of an atom or two - really couldn't be anything other than mechanical. Unless you you mean something like a bacteria, which is hella bigger.
