I am working on it but It is going to take time. This encyclopedia will be different in that it will have its own subsection detailing Wettic technologies and I will have specific values for my weapons and shields!

This is the flagship of the Wettic navy. She carries the same amount of soldiers and equipment as four Jupiter C battleships and almost as many fighters. Her defensive and offensive capabilities are even more awe inspiring and that is what this ship was designed to do. Not so much a flexible weapon as one that simply intimidates the enemy and hopefully make it surrender before firing a shot. But if anybody is foolish enough to take the Dreadnought on, she can take a lot and dish out even more.

She has a plethora of weapons among which are 6 Ripper beam emitters, 4 are located in the prongs on the front of the ship. Those prongs carry many of the weapons of the front section of the ship to make room for the fighters, dropships and the marines with their equipment that are all housed their. The bridge like structure between the prongs is actually the largest and most sophisticated Agatha sensor array in existence capable of scanning multiple sectors. The mid-section has one Ripper beam on either side and houses two of the ZPE cores along with the housing for the crew and pilots not to mention the bridge.

The aft section houses the warp nacelles, reactionless drives and the jumpengines as well as four ZPE cores. These are all located in the aft prongs because the main body of this part of the ship is reserved for an unique facility onboard a Wettic ship. An internal docking facility capable of servicing starships. Its not big enough to house anything longer then a kilometre but most Wettic ships aren’t that big. It is this capability more then any other that makes this ship the through heart of any battlefleet.

There are of course weaknesses in the design. For one, at sublight speeds she is slower then any other ship in the Wettic navy. Manoeuvrability is poor as can be expected from a ship this big and because of its size two shield generators were needed to cover the entire ship. These two shields meet at the midsection and it is there that shield strength drops to 50% even after being fully charged. The Agatha sensor array also stands out but does have its own shielding so that the ship wouldn’t be blinded so easily.

At the moment this ship was designed, Wetland was only capable of supporting one of these ships although later two more were built. It was designed to combat the Shivan threat and like all other new designs it incorporates several new technologies. The plasma cannons although not entirely new are far more powerful then the particle cannons used on the Mars or Ironclad.
But the most powerful weapon is on the front between the two fighter decks. It was developed with help from Jordaxian scientists and is called a Ripper beam.
It also has a lot more armour then any other ship in use by the Wettic navy and it can carry 400 fighters and their pilots making this a formidable craft. 10.2 meters of Astorium provides protection from almost any weapon encountered so far by Wetland and it can be polarised to offer more protection. But this is not the first line of defense because thanks to the our good ally Central Facehuggeria the Zeus will be equipped with their "Accumulator" shield technology making this ship a very though nut to crack.
After the first encounters with the Shivan however several weaknesses were identified. The aft section wasn't protected enough, it had several blind spots and it lacked a good defense against a barrage of missiles.
Because of this, 2 more turrets were added, the aft section got its own missile battery and decoy launchers were added to give the ship more staying power. These changes were retrofitted to the Zeus after the conflict ended.

This is another version of the Jupiter and this one is meant to attack planets. It carries the troops and fighters necessary for this but it also has modified weapons systems capable of bombarding the surface of a planet with them. The rail cannon for example fires a special round of which the ship carries 20. They are spheres with a diameter of 30 meters and consist of a layer of ceramic tiles, then a meter thick layer of titanium and then followed by a core of lead.

The plasma cannons aren't as strong as the ones on the Jupiter B and they take longer to fire but they have a far stronger magnetic containment field allowing the bolts to reach the surface of the planet. Of course it can still hold its own in a fight but it is to be escorted by a fleet at all times and also escorted by another battleship as well.

This was classified by Corpsac as a heavy cruiser but the Wettic navy considers it a battleship. Like the Miridon class this ship is a heavily modified ship bought from Corpsac but it also has a few additions that are different from the Miridon. It has an AI, shields, antimatter missiles, Agatha sensor array, warp nacelles, reactionless drivers and an antimatter power core. Room for the nacelles and drivers was made by reducing the troop carrying capacity of the ship. There was also made room for 2 boarding crafts and 4 dropships because of the roll envisioned for this ship. It was meant to raid shipping lanes, attack reinforcements that are off guard and plunder weakly defended outposts along with surprise attacks on the rear and flanks of an engaged enemy fleet.
It can do this because it, unlike any other Wettic ship, has retained the jump engines that were installed by Corpsac making these 4 ships the only ones in the Wettic navy capable of travelling through hyperspace before the arrival of the Saturn.

In the war with the Shivans it became clear that the Jupiter B although very impressive and capable couldn’t be produced in high enough numbers to protect the Confederacy. Because of that, an order was placed for a ship of no more then a 1000 meters long, capable of carrying a few fighters and acting as a pocket battleship. The result was the Saturn.

It has regenerative shielding thanks to the fact that it is outfitted with 2 generators. When the first one fails, the second takes over while the first one regenerates. It’s offensive capabilities were far greater then the Mars thanks to advances in weapons and space-time research that were made in the mean-time.

It is also the first massproduced ship that carries an FTL communications array. Before this only the Jupiters and the ships bought from Corpsac were equipped with this while smaller ships had to rely on couriers to transmit messages over longer distances.

The Saturn took over some of the roles the Mars had been fullfilling up until then. Primarily exploration and border patrols although the Mars can still be found performing these duties due to the fact that there aren't enough Saturns to replace the Mars there.

Four of these ships were procured from Corpsac only 2 years after construction of the space navy had begun. They were outfitted with power systems, engines, FTL-drive and computer system of Wettic design. Still in many ways these ships were the most advanced in the fleet and certainly the most powerful. When they were put into service their class was renamed and they were reclassified as cruisers to reflect the enormous size these ships had in comparison with the rest of the fleet.

In 74 A.L. these ships were mothballed and one of them is now open to the public as a museum in the Fury-shipyards in the Wetticus system.

The Mars class destroyer was the testbed for many systems that later became standard in other designs. Artificial gravity to name one as well as missiles with anti-matter warheads and an artificial intelligence to manage many of the ships' systems. But perhaps the most important was the armour and shielding that were also used on the Mars first.

In 89 A.L. the original Mars design was redesignated as Mars A and a new Mars B with many improvements would take its place. This ship still used the hull of the old Mars but the systems are very different. The most obvious addition are the 2 drone launchers on either side of the ship. Behind them are large cilinders holding 8 drones which can be launched rapidly. It also has 2 decoy launchers to provide additional missile defense and has improved engines and power core. It also has a third generation Agatha sensor array while the Astorium used as armour now has polarisation capacity and the plates are fused together with a new technic that has been developed which effectively makes the armour one piece.

When construction of the Zeus began it was already clear that the ship was both to big and to expensive to built a lot of them and so a new design was ordered that would be capable of carrying the Ripper beam but wouldn’t be too expensive. The Pluto class was the result of this and at first it seemed to be perfect.

It had 2 Ripper beams instead of one and thanks to experience that was gained with the construction of the Zeus these emitters were far more reliable. It was also a lot smaller cutting the time that was required for its construction and improving manoeuvrability which was very good considering the emitters were still fixed.
But there were also a lot of problems with the design. Because of the immense power the emitters would need the ship had only been equipped with 16 missile tubes with only 32 missiles because of space restrictions and the shield is rather weak for a ship of this size. The Ripper beams itself only have a short range making it necessary to approach the target to within 50.000 kilometers.

It was hoped these shortcomings would be remedied by using XAstorium for armour instead of Astorium. XAstorium was a further development of the Astorium armour and is capable of scattering rather then deflecting a staggering 80% of all the energy directed against it but it looses this trait when the armour is too tick and the refining process is very expensive making it impossible to be used in a ship larger then this one. This scattering effect gives it a stealth ability that would allow it to sneak up to an enemy and then attack it when it is too late.
This ability is enhanced further by the addition of an experimental cloak, which creates a bubble around the ship that bends everything around the ship including gravity and light, but this also plays havoc with its own sensors. This was remedied again by giving it a very large Agatha sensor array that would be used in the explorer ship that was still under development at the time and was later shelved.
Even so, when it is cloaked it can only detect anything that is 4 light hours away and it is blind beyond that which means that it will only use the cloak to reach a predetermined spot from where it can strike its target.

But all of this made the ship terribly expensive and up to now only seven have ever been made.

The first ship designed by Wetland it still has a lot of pre-FTL technologies in it. It was however designed to be refitted with better equipment as soon as they became available and its first refit has already been performed. These included the replacement of the fusion reactor with an antimatter power core, an Agatha sensor array, a qucomp and artificial gravity.

This class was designed as a response to the call for a colony ship and also to the call by the private sector for a ship useful for commerce. The Mercury was the answer. It was far larger then any other ship that had been built by us before and comes in two varieties. The first is meant for colonisation, shipping between military installations, carrying supplies for the navy and also to function as platform to launch and retrieve fighters. There is also a version that is meant for the private sector and export. It is slower then the first version due to the fact that the antimatter core is replaced by 2 fusion reactors. Both versions however are the same in every other aspect. They both use civilian grade computer technology and sensor equipment but in a later upgrade they received artificial gravity.
