It does look utilitarian enough to me and good art all round. Although i'd raise the aft turrets so that they can fire over the forward turrets in a direct frontal attack run.

The turrets are, I'm sorry to say, more-or-less copies of the ones Blademasters used on his Star Destroyer.

@Sskiss I thought about that, but the ship would have to be a bit bigger to fit the extra equipment. Besides, its not supposed to attack head-on, its supposed to sit there and fire broadsides. And even if it does find itself firing forward, it can bring four turrets to bear. Actually, it can bring four turrets to bear on any given direction.

@5CN: It might look like one of your escorts, but monitors are incapable of escorting anything. They were designed as a cheap stop-gap solution and only have rudimentary drives.
