Hmm.. hadn't gotten to that part yet, but I'd figure about 2 feet. That seems reasonable to me. But I'm sure someone will have a problem with that number for some reason.

as it stands, 10cm of ablative armor is thinner than my fighters' armor. maybe a meter or more would be good. And even 2 feet puts it well under what my lighter capital ships would have, assuming I had lighter capital ships.

I still like the design, though I'd hope you'd understand if I said I still like my Golem class carriers better. It would make a good battleship hull if you strengthened the armor substantially

Oh I know. I'm keeping the design. I'm just beefing it up a bit.
Its perfectly understandable for you to like your own stuff better.
