The Makaan-class is the replacement to the aging (and fragile) Clinton-class. The ship itself is little more than a reinforced hull equipped with weapons and enough living quarters to support all the fighter pilots. The vessel is unmanueverable, but who needs maneuverability when you have thousands of fighters?

Am I reading this right? 2,000 fighters!? How big are your fighters? They had better be really really tiny, otherwise there is very little way your ship could carry them all. For comparison, my largest carrier (now destroyed) was the CFV Pillar of Power at 6.5 km long and carrying 1,000 mixed fighters, bombers, and corvettes. (Approximately 600 fighters, 300 bombers, 100 combat corvettes.)
