Tho now that you mention it, I think I might up the gun by a couple orders of magnitude - 3-5, maybe. Make it a threat to lighter capital craft.
I could easily upgrade the drive specs, but 650gees seemed like plenty, and 720deg/sec is probally as high as you can plausibly control without massivly enhanced reflexes.

Ok, I added a -B varrient, updated the sizes to the proper ones, and revised ammunition yeilds(note that it's very easy to spend several times the fighter's cost in ammunition).
