Disunity is a webgame I worked on during 2007 and later abandoned due to lack of time.

Pretty much.

Disunity is essentially Nationstates in space, but with additional features. Feel free to suggest what those additional features may be.

Declaring various "edicts"
R&D
Colonization
Ship construction
Mining/refining

The main reason I gave up on Disunity the first time around is because it became too big, too ambitious, and too complicated for one person to code effectively. I'm going to stick to basics, then work from there.

My first goal is essentially a clone of Nationstates. From there I'll add character generation and recording, alliances etc.

Resources, R&D, ship construction are all far in the future.

Okay, All you'll really need is a population generator and an events generator. And maybe a few picks before you create your race/nation.

By the way, if you can remember your username/pass from 2007, you can probably log in at http://disunity.esusalliance.co.uk/ - you won't be able to create new accounts at the moment, though.
