Okay... You asked for it...

Scenario #1: Crownguard is undergoing an extensive reconstruction of its aging military. The government works hard to build a military for the next generation. Part of its plan is a state-of-art prototype warship designed to be able to operate alone against a large number of opposing warships. But unfortunately, the prototype is stolen. With little to recapture the prototype, you can only depend on three aging warships to take back what is rightfully yours. Roleplay your attempt at taking back the prototype.

*Throughout the void of space, the faint outline of metallic structure left a tell-tale blot of darkness against the otherwise pinpricked tapestry. It was quite beautiful really, especially with the catch of the star's rays floating over the shell. These thoughts ran through Captain Velas' mind as he stared out over the sister ships of the CSS Orion.*

"Captain"

*A turn of the head*

"Hmm? I mean yes, yes Lieutenant?"

He spoke, a bit more gruff.

"We are prepared to engage the H-T drive...sir."

*A slight pause. Was he merely getting old or was there the hint of a sneer? Lieutenant Hadaway was a good officer..but a tad too ambitious. Naturally, the rest of the crew hated him for being a bona-fide prick.*

"Engage"

*A slight sigh was heard deep in his throat, but he couldnt be sure. They were in pursuit, yes....but this was to be his last jaunt in space. The thought terrified him, to no longer be able to seek comfort in the vastness of the stellar quadrant, relegated to punching buttons or somesuch. His dearest goal had been to make Admiral but.....regrets were fleeting. Few had the opportunity he had..to pilot (in his opinion) one of the best ships of the fleet. He wasnt really a man of change.*

*Almost as if on cue, the three ships (The Orion, and her two escorts) turned and entered the enveloping fabric of folded space-time. If one had a sense of irony, it would seem as if they were being swallowed by time itself....which wasnt far off the mark. Progress was progress, and the prototype would spell the end of these reliable workhorses of the Fleet.*

*Hadaway pipes up*

"We will be within range of the raiders within a few hours sir. They may be fast but we do know where they are going. Whether we get back out is another matter..."

"Lieutenant"

"Yes sir?"

"Shut the hell up"

"Very good sir"

*A few laughs were stifled as the ships pursued their quarry.*

Um... To put it very bluntly, its too short... Make it a little longer and incorporate everything in the scenario description...
