Re-test

Scenario #1: As the years have passed with your admittance to the ESUS, you have developed a strong, working relationship with many member nations of the alliance. However, one of the nations within the ESUS (you pick) has delved into your past and found chilling evidence of your collusion with the Shivans. As your allies desert you, your leaders attempt to maintain your threatened position within the alliance. RP as your leaders as they attempt diplomatically to remain...

Final Triumph
Foreign Affairs Office

The shadow of the scandal had erupted into a destructive blaze. The media, even within the Alliance, had seized the chance to attack the alliance at the core. Originally, the deal with the Shivans had been made during the period of strife after the Wave incident. Every assurance had been made that the deals would not be discovered, but they had. The Council for the most part had been stagnate regarding any sort of response.

To respond violently, would give off the impression of haste, that the new regime did indeed have something to hide. To not respond, would give off the impression of fear, so either way, they were screwed. The council had gone through heated debates on the subject, finally coming to the ultimate decision.

Spokesman Vorak had been dispatched to execute the will of the council. Although he too enjoyed the luxurious life that living on Final Triumph had avoided him, he had rarely visited this wing of this massive station before. The Foreign Affairs Embassy was ornately decorated, but cold and rejecting.

Only recently had the office begun to hustle and bustle, but at this exact moment, it was empty. Spokesman Vorak peeked into the messy inner officer of the Head of Foreign Affairs, the man who had originally dealt with the Shivan negotiations. This was the man being singled out by the media.

Spewed on his desk were reports about the scandal, and how all the fingers pointed to Dalton, the Head of Foreign Affairs. It had indeed been Dalton almost 45 years ago who had arranged the original agreement. Dalton was a variation humanoid, and had double the life range of an average human. Nonetheless, he looked particularly disturbed and wrinkled today. Dalton scrambled to his feet when Vorak entered.

“You’ve made a big mistake, Vorak snarled through closed teeth. “This is spreading throughout the Alliance more quickly than we can control it. Damage control is near impossible, he snarled again. “And all because you couldn’t hold your drunken tongue!

“Now you listen here! I never did any such thing! Some one intentionally- Vorak pushed the man down into his seat. Dalton stared at Vorak, wide eyed with fear.

“Yo-you can’t kill me! he stuttered. “If I die, ev-everyone will know you did it! Dalton held a gleam of triumph in my eyes. Vorak patiently put a pair of black gloves on before pulling out a roll of paper, and laying it on the table before speaking.

“As we speak, new information is being released to the media and interstellar communities, Vorak made sure the gloves were on snugly, “That you acted alone, without authority, in hopes of taking control of the sector, Vorak pulled something from his side. “The Council has spoke, he aimed at Dalton’s head, “And they’ve decided, they want you dead. Vorak pulled the trigger, and watched as the top of Dalton’s head blew off. Dalton activated a nearby viewer, and watched as a Council Member gave a public apology, telling the viewers that this “Collusion with the Shivans occurred before the Alliance.

The roll of parchment was a suicide note of Dalton’s, one claiming that he could no longer live with the guilt of his past actions.

For now, the Council was saved.

Re-Test #2: The population of your nation is dying mysteriously of a genetically modified virus that renders the body incapable of defecating, thus forcing the body to retain all of its waste, i.e. constipation. As your scientist scramble to find a solution to this population, your people are dying. RP out as a civilian attempting to deal with the problem as well as a scientist attempting to find a solution...
