Daniel Masaki, The Lightning Master/Lady Nightshade, Empress of Tenetia says:
Hey.
Daniel Masaki, The Lightning Master/Lady Nightshade, Empress of Tenetia says:
I propose a cease-fire between the GFFA and the ESUS.
Brett says:
is this from you, or from a consensus?
Daniel Masaki, The Lightning Master/Lady Nightshade, Empress of Tenetia says:
consensus.
Brett says:
I'm listening
Brett says:
what are your reasons?
Daniel Masaki, The Lightning Master/Lady Nightshade, Empress of Tenetia says:
The Federation believes (obviously) that a grevious mistake has been made in this conflict. We are prepared to enact reparations in exchange for withdrawl of ESUS forces from GFFA territory.
Quite simply, I think this is probably a way they hope to bring the war to ESUS territory. If we withdraw, they can then attack our worlds, rather than being tied up in their own territory. Personally, I wouldn't agree, but it's up to you lot.

Why would we cease fire when we're the ones with battlefleets in enemy territory?

Exactly. We should probably put it to a vote either way, they want an answer.

I chose Yay.

Simply because this war isn't what it was meant to be. Turn out is low, people popping in off and on a little too much, hell I can be blamed for that to.

I just say we end it, if they attack us after we pull out, we just drive them back.

I've been out doing stuff, the war took too long to set up initially, and my time ran short, but I'm back, and was preparing to get into it... I vote nay, I don't need a Backstabbing GFFA fleet knocking at my door.

Nay. A) We're winning. B) My participation should go WAY up by next week. I GET TO GO HOME! HOO-AH!

Let's not be hasty here...

What are they prepared to offer us?

Too lazy to log out, this is Tarot.

I vote nay, unless we get an unconditional surrender, a dismantling of their military, and get to occupy their homeworlds. With planet-killers installed in our bases just in case.

Three quarters of their total population as slaves should suffice.

Actually, tell them to make a thread. And don't stop shooting while the negotiation is occuring. Makes them think there's a chance we'll stop, then we just throw it in their faces and kill their diplomats via hordes of clone soldiers and combat avatars. On that note, I would advise not sending any diplomats you would miss. :D
