The great and eternal Sskiss creche agree to this proposel. We have nothing to fear and welcome our other crechemates to "exchange of resources".

OOC: A galactic map (along with all or most listed systems) would would be useful to determine where we are in relation to one another.

Representitive Tak'sheel stands, robes of a High Cleric of The All Consuming shifting slightly as she looks over the flags of the other ESUS nations.

"The Galactic Hegemony abstains on this issue, but no action shall be taken that we feel would violate our sovereignty. The Capital System shall remain marked and open, but those who would argue against our laws and deny our regulations shall find naught but death as criminals at Mekantan hands."

Her eyes narrow, her tone indicating that the Hegemony had every intention of going through with her threat to use people they didn't like as target practice.

Do not tell us what we have agreed to. If it was so obvious, you would have no need of this resolution.

... and that no system or planet that holds a civilian population of any kind be closed to allied commerce and trade except during times of war or national crisis.
Despite the fact that it appears this measure will pass into law, would the above edit to the original document be more acceptable to the dissenting parties?

Oh come now. Look here:
This measure would require that all member nations must share their star charts with their ESUS allies, and that no system or planet that holds a civilian population of any kind be closed to allied commerce and trade.
If you have a system of extreme strategic value that you wouldn't want others to hear about, then first of all you wouldn't be staffing it with a civilian force anyway - either you would use military workforces or asentient constructs. If you don't have a choice then you simply reclassify the civilians as something else; if they protest simply remind them the installation was a secret in the first place and upon entering they "ceased to exist" from the universe at large; and as they say, 'in the void, no one can hear you scream.' The only purpose of this measure is to lift any attempts to restrict trade, or kill any thought of hiding like a craven child while striking at others.

As is, the Imperial Corporate Nautocracy has nothing to fear in voting 'yea' for this resolution as we have never made a secret about where we live in the universe.

The Eternal Empire votes yea on this amendment, and welcomes the possibility for further trade in its more isolated holdings, as well as more freedom of information between loyal allies. It should be noted that all Jordaxian civilian holdings locations have always been freely available to all anyway.

The Balrogga Empire is not afraid to allow others to know the locations of our systems. All 39 systems of the Empire are listed within the Member Directory of the Intergalactic Trade Hub and have been receiving trade shipments from the approximately 120 ITH Members for over a century.

The Empire also recognizes the rights of a nation to keep their military secrets. We believe this should be taken into account if this measure comes to pass.

The Colonial Federal Goverment Abstain's, We are not worried about disclosing systems. Infact we thought thats what was ment to happen when you join a trade allaince, its not like we would Classify our home system as a Military secret now is it.

The Empire votes yea on the ratification of this measure. We do not intend to hide our systems from the alliance, and never will. However, we do retain the right to close any civilian port as a precautionary measure if circumstances so arise.
