Unless the Senior Directorate has any objections, this clarification of an already existing measure is updated in the ESUS constitution.

I actually would have thought the matter closed sometime last week, but was too lazy to post anything.

It's passed, you'll either follow it or be ejected.

well technically, seeing as "i wont follow it" has many meanings, such as "ill just classify all my civilians as something else" is the sort of thread im working on, and considering this would pretty much fuck up the entirety of my nations backstory, hm?

Interesting concept.

If a member is ejected, can individual members follow up with military action?

ic: Hiding one's planets in a trade alliance is very silly.
ooc: It's also way stupid if you excpect to be a nation, at all.

Allanea: No, military action between members is not allowed under any circumstances.

If a member is ejected, you're well within your rights to invade the ejected member. You however may not invoke the ESUS constitution in your war, meanining that members can choose to support you, but woni't have to.

Aren, if you don't like this, propose a measure to overturn it.

The Socialist Republic will not endanger its economic security by opening undesignated ports to trade, nor will we consent to give up our own greatest military advantage by sharing our sord charts. There is, unfortunately, no room for compromise on this matter. If our defiance means that our tenure with the ESUS must be terminated, that will have to be the case.
