Its mere existence is an expression of distrust in individual members' ability to enforce their own legal codes. The Socialist Republic objects to this amendment and reiterates its objection to the proposed constitution.

Your claims are obviously false. The revision is not a change; it is a clarification on what was originally implied. To say otherwise nothing more than an argument of semantics fueled by an unwarranted and absurd fear towards the enforcement of common trade law.

ooc: The Senate answers to the member nations. Further, I'd say that since the ESSCD is not established yet, that no rules precedents are set yet. Its up to us to establish the organization when its founding is approved.
Also, it'd be quite logical that ESSCD forces are made up of ESUS nation nationals native to the country they serve in. All I see the ESSCD doing is helping local law enforcement deal the agreed upon ESUS trade laws.

The proposed constitution has, in fact, already been amended at least twice since voting began. The Lanalphini contest that the continued editations of the original text make this vote unrepresentative of member opinions on the proposed constitution's current wording. This constitutes a gross mishandling of the matter by Court authorities and grounds for a formal rejection of any resulting vote herein obtained. This document should be finalized, then re-submitted for consideration by the Senate. The Socialist Republic will not acknowledge a new constitution approved through what its leaders perceive to be fraudulent means.

The Xanthalian government stands by its position. The new constitution was not voted upon fairly, and in addition the final tally does not reflect that the measure gained the necessary eighty percent approval under the old Constitution. The Socialist Republic will no longer acknowledge Extra-Solar Union of Systems law pending an internal vote to recant its membership in the ESUS as it is apparent that the alliance's courts are wholly unable to carry out their assigned tasks.
