Or possibly Superman 64 and Half-Life 2.
It's amazing how a family can be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of hungry wolves.

You're not comparing their merits as games, you're comparing their levels of awesome in terms of concepts. And in this case, EvE shits all over WoW from a great height. :P

I don't think you quite grasp the mechanics of conceptual awesome. :P

I have to agree with CF, although the conceptual awesome is only the start. I have played EVE and WoW the same amount of time (even though X-Fire lies because I don't have it on my new comp) and like I said, lost interest in WoW but I still play EVE. WoW is just another hack n' slash mmorpg while EVE has actual political intrigue, an in-depth trade system, research and development...and space pirates. Also, comparing Total Annihilation to Half Life 2 isn't the same as comparing WoW and EVE, as TA and HL2 are of different genres and time periods. So yeah.

And comparing a third person pvp based space game versus a roleplaying fantasy game isnt the same?

Oook then.

Im not saying WoW is better than EvE, im just saying they fill completely different niche's of the market, and if were going to do an "awesomeness" thing, you know i'd be on top :P.

Anyways, 8 million people cant be wrong. (even though alot are complete retards... get friends like mine and you'd enjoy it more.)

What I was implying is that TA is an RTS where as HL2 is a FPS, EVE and WoW are both MMORPG's. And I had a great group of friends on WoW. It just wasn't enough.
