Forgot to mention one thing about this little soul stealing plot... You leave, and the battlegroup goes buh-bye!
Anyway, I'm working on the Marketplace topic about the fleet now. Stats and such. ^_^
It'll have two Carriers, Five Battlecruisers, and a full compliment of 500 fighters and 150 bombers.
Big enough? Too small. Open to negotiation. The Tsthathi have a worldship that gives overcompensation a bad name. Minagoroshi will be eager to disarm the fuggers after she takes over.

They fairly well whoop ass, for standard-style ships. Carriers and Battlecruisers could go toe to toe with Star Destroyers. They're a little lacking in anti-fighter weapons, and have to rely on thier shields and thier fighters to deal with small threats to thier space superiority.
The Tsthathi have thier own mix of technologies that will actually give the Zircon some trouble on thier stomp through thier ship. Namely shield techs.
Eh, since Minagoroshi likes you, I'll throw in a Space Platform too. Name where you want it when the Tsthathi War is over. ^_^
