I dunno, we've got more members now (46) than we've ever had. I don't think the ESUS is past its golden age, I think it's Nationstates as a whole that is. There's very little place for mammoth alliances anymore, because there's so few to compete with us.

That's why we're largely a country club these days. To use modern terminology, we're a NS FT social networking group.

I don't think, I am sure of that. Browsing International Incidents briefly will serve as a good indicative of it. Comparing the average quality and quantity of 2009 threads with that of 2005 ones, an even better one.
