The reason I joined the ESUS

I was thinking about some of the really old RPs I was in and it got me to wondering how other people were initially drawn to the ESUS.

For me, it was an invitation by Corpsac. He posted in my thread where I was exploring in The Navigator and I ran into him in the Thread. After several pages of RPing, he suggested I apply to the ESUS. After giving it some thought, I used the link he provided and applied. That was over four years ago.


Who was behind your applying and in what situation did you meet this person?

It was the period of Arizona Nova's ascendancy into international politics, in late '04, and I encountered an interesting fellow by the name of Mekanta. I bought some nanites and he told me about the alliance, so I checked it out and thought it was cool, and as I started college at Ripon I took the tests at ESUS, and the rest is history.

I joined IC'ly due to the fact that at the time their was this nasty Shivan invasion going on and my people only numbered some 70-80 million. I also think someone (although I had long sinse forgot who) took notice of my RP style and suggested I join.
