You're choosing the wrong bmp file. That is the model information file. You want the one that you rendered.

Well, it makes two files, a L2P file, which I can't convert because paint won't open it, and a BMP file...

you MUST use doga L3. it is the only one that alows custom shine effects and all of the other texturing options. Dogas l2 & l1 have lame smoothign too, so i suggest l3 above all.

Yeah, but I need help on the whole picture thing. I save it, and it saves with two files, the L3P or whatever file, and the BMP file. The BMP file is a tiny little image, and the L3P file is unopenable by anything but Doga, so I can't convert it.

oh, set the ship to whatever angle you want, and hit f5, it will run a rendering window that saves it at about 500X something pixels
its alot bigger, and its thenone everyone else uses.
