Can you be more specific? What exactly do you mean about "collecting data"?

Hmm...Sounds interesting. Give me an example of this "template" of yours and I'll see.

there ya go

skills = skills, and Abilities are the equivalent of DnD and KotoR feats. RP abilities are thigns that effect your character without actually effecting their performance of physical stats.

also in the normal rpg, ill shift you some individuality points, which make your char different from all others of it's race.

(oh skiss, size is a disadvantage sometimes, especially in the setting, opf the 1st campaign were gona do)

Yeah. It's simple and easy to use as a system. Once you've figured it out, it's like *snap your fingers* and that's how quick it is to make a race. It also has simple yet VERY fun additions like the implants [Which I'm working on. :P ]

Okay, this tells me somewhat more, but there are two many abbreviations and I also use metric measurements. Furthermore, how do I grade my abilities and stats point wise? What about their cost in points? Levels?

I also noticed both examples have a low Int stat. How do the stats compare to each other?

In other words, where are the "game mechanics" to all of this?

well, int is a D20 modifier for dodge and aaccuracy. it cant be too high, otherwise the game gets screwed up.

the reason the stats numbers are how they are is because i need them to be for ease of computation.

For skill purchase, your characters defaulty start with 4 unchosen skills they can choose. if your race always has a certain skill, it generally is better than a character skill, but i only let you have one racial skill. the individual character must shoose the other 3. as you level up, depending on your class, you will get new skills and abilities at different levels.

An ability is sessentially a feat, they sometimes are certifications or can be used in combat. you can get 6 of them per character, but you may have racial abilities, which again are better than normal, but there is a limit of 2. the abilities come in the same way new skills do after char creation, in levels depending on your class.

If you want more info, i have yahoo, aim and MSN

But that's just it....My race would have several racial advantages "built in" so to speak. How do you handle that? Also, my race would easily exceed the maximum stat of 20 (if 20 is the absolute maximum stat) in some of the statistics. Let me think about it for awhile. PM me here for more info then.
