IC'ly we as a people would not be to keen on the idea. Our technological base is radically different then the mainstream making technological hybridization very difficult. OOC'ly, However, I think its a good idea.

This is very close to my case too. I approve of this idea but there is not much IC reason for Solar Communes to get involved in it. They aren't really into overhauling their entire scientific advancement of the last 3,000 years, but instead into adapting its applications to the new situation they are into now.

We each will be bringing our own specilities into this and it is not about overhauling your own tech, it is about character Rps of combining it with the other ESUS members in mutual projects that benifits the alliance as a whole. It does state in the ESUS that we are to:

Our Aim
We wish to establish an interstellar trading network, benefiting the economies of all our members. Trade of technology and resources and mutual defence agreements will allow us to grow and expand, while maintaining our original intentions: to allow members to prosper in a secure environment.


My goal is to provide a platform for this and only this. You do not have to change your own nation. Hell, you do not even have to show up if you don't have an IC reason. This is just an outlet for players to have characters interact based upon the Aim of the ESUS.

Does anyone have an idea what we should name it and can we put the ESUS name on it? Of course the Thread willbe ESUS members only but having the name on it would be even more cool (And shove it under Btyn's nose that we DO things together as a side effect of including it).
