Q. What is the back burner?
A. The back burner is many things. It's a cataloging of RPs I am in, specifically RPs that are "old." They are also threads that are largely resolved ICly and completely OOCly. It is also a "signal" to its participants.
Q. What does it mean for me?
A. If you're participating in a back burner thread, it just means that I am personally ratcheting down its priority in preparation for something new I plan on doing. You have two options:
-Meet with me and/or other participants about making an outline to complete the thread, and then completing it.
-Opt for OOC resolution via a wiki entry.
Note that, odds are, I am already preparing to do the latter myself. If you wish to include details that would have happened but simply weren't covered, edit the wiki or fill me in on them here or in PM.
Don't be offended if I've put a thread you're participating here: if it's important to you, just consider it another nudge to get posting on it; if it's also lapsed in importance to you, consider this my tacit approval of your moving on.

I figured at this point the Guardian's Reach thread had become a "backburner" thread. I suppose its alright sinse at this point its a "done deal" as it were. Still, I'd like to bring it to some sort of conclusion eventually.

PS: Never played HoI2 in MP, but I really want to as currently I reached the stage where the AI no longer seem difficult unless I pick a near impossible gambit like going with Poland in 1939 scenario.
