Also... well, lets say that I'm taking more than just that concept. Only the "good" Solarians will be able to achieve that, and that "good" includes helping xenos instead of butchering them. The "evil" ones will become blood sucking self-replicating dust, "meatbags" or solar-powered self-replicating dust instead. Or may try something with the Ta'Nar if they prove themselves worthy.

Get ready for more totally unrelated things being thrown together in Solar Communes "canon".

However, these Solarians will not really be the fun ones to RP with. Because they are beyond conflict. They seek to help others only being usually very altruist people with serious willingness to self-sacrifice. Not cool at all. They will just be there to try balancing things, but it'll not be simple.

PS: But things won't be very black and white. Alina Herrers for example would most likely become one of the ascendant ones. Because such character did some nasty things, but became more compassionate with time and made some really extreme acts of self-sacrifice to help others. Nevermind the fact she advocated xenocide and tortured several xenos.

Very well, if those Solarians can prove themselves worthy then the Ta'Nar may help. That will be determined through RP.

LOL so my NS will be split between "evil" and morally grey Ta'Nar offsprings and Spiritualist "Enlightened Ones" that are practically "ghosts", besides the conventional humans and "replicators". That'd be awesome. How do you suggest I make it? Should I start with a closed thread or something?

Also, the idea of a planet inhabited by engineered "ghosts" is really... well add some Cthulhu Mythos to this and I really like where this idea is going.

More like the "good guys", the "bad guys" will be closer to... CF and Mekanta as in liking to play Exterminatus with xenos scum and using real pyramid heads they engineered or something similar.

Still, among themselves they'll be an utopian society. So unless you're a xenos scum, they're "good guys" too.

I don't see my people giving this much credit, in fact we don't even give bal much credit, "ascended" beings in our eyes icly seem to be a bunch of power brokers or attempts at power brokers (to whom we've invested a lot in making things to kill them in-case they decide to go nuts and attack).
