LHC missiles rape less physics, besides having lulzier implications if they work.

Reposting the Grav Torp MK !! from several pages ago so the simular design between the Octagian and Ta'Nar singularity missiles can be seen. We both started from the same source but went in different directions while still remaining partially true to the origional design.

I like how Otagia designed his and the look is "right" for his version.

Note: My version also turns black but it would have been nearly impossible to see it properly so I illustrated the stage right before acheiving full singularity, thus light was still escaping the immenent forming event horizon and could be seen.

Nifty trick for making the singularity: Use the standard combination of a glow texture and a high emmiton with the desired event horizon color. Then, take the render into photoshop, fill the white center with black, and use the blend tool to get rid of the pixellation on the edge. ^.^

Another way to do it without using Photoshop and only DoGA is to make a black sphere and insert a round disk half way through with the emission set to the color you want. Make sure the emission disk is perpendicular to the camera view. The result should be a black sphere with a halo effect.

Here is a quick and dirty attempt. Through trial and error you could get the placement just right.
