While it is a semi-valid point, we vote nay. Afterall, Veredia still makes money off of all foreign shipping as they have to pay to utilize our trade lanes (freelancer anyone?) and jumpgates which bypass the FTLis to some extent. Of course, they don't have to use them, and thus not pay for them, but it makes shipping much faster. Veredian shipping doesn't have to pay, as the Veredians pay taxes, which were used to build the gates and lanes in the first place, so they've done their part already, and as such, only foreign shipping has to pay the small service fees.
