There is also "The Tick", an old Sega Genesis game with more than 30 hours of nonstop and increasingly tough and repetitive gameplay and no "save game" feature.

Also, most MMORPGs(including this FF MMO fail) suck with a totally repetitive, tiresome level treadmill that actually makes you wonder why you lost so many hours of your life with such shit. Planetside on the other hand was good while it lasted. And if Huxley actually manages to become something like a "Massively Multiplayer Online Battlefield in the Future"... it could become a really epic and fun multiplayer.

Fortunately in games like NationStates you don't have to press repetitively the same button over and over and wait for the same spawn over and over to "level up" your nation.
