The ESUS stands for trade and exchange for mutual benefit, with a side order of defence.

The nations that actually belong are greatly varied, both in culture and values, with more than a few conflicts - you literally have nations here that would normally be trying to kill each other. The old Facehuggers would have loved to wipe me out, for example, while the Mekantans don't even consider Kanuckistani sapient, including the ~5% of the population who are sorta-hunam. Meanwhile, Kanuckistan stays mainly for the defencive military benefits that come with belonging to pretty much the largest power block in the known universe(s).

Also, you might have... issues, blocking anything with a black hole, especially if you're semi-hard sci-fi.

And the Imperial German Space Nazis happily import weapons developed by a hedonistic clusterfuck of maybe-humans, furries, and things that can't possibly really exist, presumably paying in gold.

The ESUS is a weird bunch.

The Ultra-libertarian Republican Spain Space Anarchists refuses to trade with Xenos and would shout "Yiff in hell furfag!" if they ever met one of those*

*And set them on fire in VR where they can't die but will suffer the burning like if it was real. With Patriotic Nigras to oversee the brutal bullying.

Rendari: So, you want to trade with us?
Nation Y: Yes.
Rendari: Well, ask yourself one question: are you MAN enough to trade with us?
Nation Y: Wut.
Rendari: I said: ARE YOU *MAN* ENOUGH TO TRADE WITH THE FUCKING MANNLICH IMPERIUM OF ZERSTORENDAR?
Nation Y: ...Perhaps we had the wrong number.
Rendari: YOU'RE DAMN FUCKING STR-
*bzzzzzzzzzzt*
Rendari: Well, he hung up. Back to lifting weights.

Only l33t d4t4j4xx0rz know how to cut off pain stimuli simulation because it's hard-coded and uses a programming language that makes Assembly looks trivial. And most PNs are datajackers. Same applies to some of the Anonymous(Featured by a pitch black skin over an average human 3d rendering or by a suit without face) that stalk in the Internets.

You're assuming default hardware/software - just hijack and modify the output. It has to be in a certain format for the brain to understand, afterall.
