Strange how I first discovered about Apocalyptica because of an epic Stalingrad mod for Empire Earth 1 which used The Unforgiven as its soundtrack.

Solar Communes: Oh yeah... Quutamo is a good one too. I think Inquisition Symphony is also a pretty decent one.
