I started drinking a beer once when I was a child. Problem is, it was a family gathering, and the reason I had it was because I had picked it up by accident when reaching for a Sprite.
Long story short, my ultra-sensitive child taste buds got quite a shock and I ended up spewing it cartoon fashion across the table. I have not had a beer since, though I did have quite a bit of dinner wine in Italy.

I started drinking when I was nearly 16. Because I'm a man and don't need to start something until I know I'll enjoy it.

I doubt you'd be able to communicate very well.
On the plus side you wouldnt need to eat or sleep.
