DragonForce is utter shit live. It becomes apparent that ZP Theart loses his ability to sing. Hell, I can sing better than ZP Theart when he's on stage.

I have studied Dragonforce's music, briefly. While it's not genius, it's certainly more than scales played very fast, as is the shred stereotype.
If anything, the guitarists of Dragonforce show a distinct commitment to melody. The worst part of the music simply appears to be a combination of song structure and repetitiveness. If Dragonforce were more adventurous and eclectic, they might be a very good band indeed. It's simply a shame that they keep recycling three songs over and over and over and...
