Back story: It was first encountered by timeline Beta Metallinautsi vessel the Tiberius, who had been searching for temporal echoes (this incarnation of Metallinauts believed falsely that they were the primary or Alpha Metallinauts). The Tiberius was a Kronos class Battlecarrier. The fight that ensued so one of the most formidable temporal warships being shredded with in 2 minutes by a far superior hunter.

She was designed and commissioned by House Maxwell as a tool to either erase Beta or put them out of the Alpha stream as it was causing tears in the STC. While class for class Alpha had better ships they lacked a coreship like the Beta's Equinox. So they quickly took to designing a ship that was far superior to the Beta Dreadnought. The result was the most powerful temporal weapon system seen in the multiverse, and she served her purpose incredibly well, downing half of the Beta fleet and the mighty Equinox in a few hours.

Specifications and Highlights:
  • Tesseration type two: The Equinox's tesseraction array was a technological marvel, it could transport matter from one place to another instantly, regardless of distance or dimensional shift. It also possessed the ability to degenerate temporal bonds in matter on a scale larger than ship to ship. It could unravel temporal bonds on a system the size of Sol. However this came at the cost of a power brown out of all other weapons and non-essential systems for roughly 2 minutes.

    The type two not only doubled the range of the bond separation, but also mounted 9 arrays. Thanks to superior power supply, the brown out using one does not occur and in fact using 4 does not cause the outage. However, using 5 results in a brown out of about 30 seconds, and each array added adds between 30 and 45 seconds depending on current power drainage from other systems.
  • Size: While to many cultures size does not matter, this ship proves that even these cultures fear large vessels. The Equinox measured out in a large 15 km, the Solstice is just over two and a half sizes of that. The mass of the vessel drags small moons out of orbit. However, while in normal vessels such mass would cause the vessel to tear itself apart at FTL speeds or during maneuvers, the Alpha Metallinauts have mastered mass manipulation and when the system is active bring the mass down to roughly half of it's true mass.
  • Bristling with guns: While Facehuggerians abhor the use of temporal technology, they would more than likely shake the designer's hands at the sheer amount of both temporal and conventional ordinance. Thousands of banks of Kinetic Harpoons can attain a 360 degree firing arc, tens of thousands of PD cannons line the hull, the ship contains enough anti-matter, plasma, EMP, chronitron and dark matter torpedoes and missiles to declare and mount a successful planetary bombardment campaign against the entirety of the GE, also onboard are old standbys such as temporal phasers and disruptors, 4 spinal mounted mass acceleration cannons that launch 6 kiloton slugs at roughly .996xC and a slew of manned and unmanned combat interceptors and drones. The ship at this time does not have any bomber wings.
  • Impregnable defense: Dozens of layers of shields ranging from reflective, refractive, absorbing, kinetic and temporal; all capable of with standing more punishment than most planetary level shields. The armor is also multilayer, including refractive, ablative, kinetic rods, dispersive and a final layer that is designed to repel boarding parties.

    Interior defenses include multi-width hallways with parts wide enough to fit small armored vehicles followed by choke points that force boarding enemies to to get down to single file while being subjected to hardened pillboxes on both flanks. Also present are VI controlled turret mounted sunbeam rifles, AP guns and microyield nukes. Not so visible defenses include the ability to depressurize entire decks or individual compartments, climate control to place temperatures at +/- 1000C. There is also a prototype mass control unit that causes g fluctuation.

Overcompensation IV:

Length - Over nine thousand kilometers.
Speed - Fast enough to penetrate any defense.
Shields - Impermeable "prophylactic" offensive* shield.
Armor - "Foreskin" class armor, proof against all known weapons (except space AIDS: The Overcompensation's natural foe is the gay spacenigger for precisely this reason.)
Special Systems - Two "gonad" class fabrication plants.
Weaponry - One superluminal energy bomb projector.

*The Overcompensation is invulnerable, so the shield is there to protect the universe from its main gun.

In tests, the Overcompensation IV has proven able to penetrate any defense, leaving female ships strangely satisfied, and males confused for their sexuality.
