The Dominion's formal position is that this likly constitutes a bad joke on the part of Mindsettian leadership, or some idiot with access to their diplomatic channels and too much time on their hands.

For, quite simply, The Mindset lacks the authority to unilatterily make any change to the ESUS Constitution; no more than any other member. They know this; we know this.

In the event that it does turn out to be a serious grab for power, the Dominion would also note that, as an attempt to superseed national soverignty, such could be considered to constitute an act of war.

Seventy-Two Hours after first Indra Prime Senior Directorate Press Conference

The press that gathered in the opulent Indra Prime Senior Directorate Chamber were the most respected, most publicly known throughout the systems they were from. Reporters from every single one of the Sixty-one nations currently allied in the Restored Extra Solar Union of Systems was present, even those nations who were in the process of just joining up. Despite the great, rare opportunity of being able to see the entire leadership caste of the Indran Government in one place at the exact same time, the mood of the room was pensive, and the ambient noise was down to the barest of whispers. Everyone knew what was coming, but they did not want to acknowledge it. One minute before the holoclock rolled over to 0600, three days after the initial Indran Press Conference, the Chamber doors opened, and the Senior Director came marching out, with the rest of the Senior Directorate following close on his heels. In the seconds that followed, the Directors all positioned them behind their high backed chairs. Thirty seconds to go before 0600, they, as one, sat down in their respective chairs, and looked toward the Senior Director, at the middle of the table, who was gathering himself together for the speech he was about to make. Despite his outward calmness, he looked a bit green around the gills. He definitely did not look forward to what he was about to do. He was about to cross a line for good, and there would be no turning back.

As the holoclock flipped over to 0600:00 every single one of the holovid cameras in the room activated and the Senior Director looked directly into the cameras.

"Citizens of Indra Prime, Citizens of our fellow nations in the Restored Extra Solar Union of Systems, fellow dignitaries, thank you for watching. Three days ago, the government of Indra Prime made a televised statement regarding the recent actions made by the Empire of the Mindset, which were made without any regard to the sanctity of each nation's sovereign ability to command their own territory. The responses that were recieved were terse at the very least. So, to unify the dissidents, the Temporal Research Commission of Indra Prime made the public statement to all nations, that if the Mindset did not remove the constitutional changes, they would be forced to resign from the position of Senior Directorate of the Extra Solar Union of Systems and they would be forceably ejected from the alliance, due to their infringent nature upon so many sovereign nations. We gave them seventy-two hours to make the change, but sadly, the new Prime refuses to acknowledge our presence.
He is under the mistaken impression that Indra Prime will back down and not enforce this ruling. Unfortunately for him, we WILL NOT back down.

Therefore, as it is in my powers granted to me by the Restored Extra Solar Union of Systems Charter and Constitution, I hereby relieve the Athiest Empire of the Mindset of their position of Senior Director of the Restored Extra Solar Union of Systems and remove his nation's charter as a signatory nation of the Charter of the Restored Extra Solar Union of Systems."

The Government of Tappee will not get involved with either side should armed conflict arise.

It is our most sincere hope that an agreement can be reached between both parties, before the loss of life occurs.

The Dominion of Kanuckistan does not recognise Indra Prime's authority to remove member states from the ESUS without a majority vote.

You can no more do this than the Mindset can unilatterily modify the ESUS Constitution.

The Mindsettian delegate stood in protest. He was a stout man, somewhat arrogant looking, and carrying with him plenty excess weight. His name was Ah'Rse.

He pointed a single chubby finger at the Indran delegate and pronounced, "if we are to be ejected through your misguided power and prowess, then we shall do the same to you! Since we are... were of equal stature within the alliance, we also have this granted power of instant ejection. Therefore, by the powers invested in me by the ESUS constitution and that of the Infinite Empire and her Prime I hereby eject the Infinite Empire Colony state of Indra Prime from the ESUS."

He then promptly sat back down.

An Avatar, assigned as a delegate at the present time, shook its head in annoyance. It stood up and glanced momentarily in the Mindsettian delegate's direction, before addressing the rest of the assembly.

"The Mindset is clearly out of line and its drastic revision has been denied by everyone who has seen it. As this is an emergency with their nation apparently changing its government's hands and attempting this, we can see why they would be removed from their position temporarily, but we would suggest reaching a quorum on both removal until this situation is resolved in such a way that reinstatement can be voted upon."

Looking toward the Mindsettian delegate pointedly, he added before sitting down, "Of course, if you choose not to accept the terms of the ESUS charter as it was written, not as your revisions state, then you're already giving yourself the boot and saving us the trouble."

Obviously this was one of the few Avatars who didn't mince words...

The Blademasterian delegate, who had been silent during the proceedings thus far, except to relay the Emperor's message of displeasure witht the Mindsettian "revisions" now stood to its towering 3.5 meter height. His blood red hooded robe concealed his frail body, but his words were spoken strongly.
"My friends, my enemies, my allies. We convene today under terrible circumstances that threaten the very foundations of our alliance. Our two mightiest leaders have chosen the path of animosity, have each threatened our alliance in great ways. The Blademasterian Empire stands beside its comrades in outrage against the Mindsettian actions, and as well the Indran rebuttal. We are a warlike people, but this is not a conflict to be solved with the use of military power, this should be resolved peacefully, quietly. However, as this has not happened, we move to remove both forces from places of power within the ESUS until such time as they can resolve their differences. We also require that the Mindsettian ruler withdraw his so called 'revisions' to the ESUS constitution."
After making his speech, the Delegate took his seat again, to observe the proceedings.

The Arenumbergian Delegate, Shira Tskova, glanced at the towering figure of the blademasterian delegate, taking in his words and letting them drift around her head, she stood, and breathed deeply, she read the message on her personal display and began to speak, The translators were still having a hard time translating the new Arenumbergian "Angelic" Dialect in pure form.

"By Request of the Commissar Council on the Homeworld, The Delegation of The Eternal Soviet Empire of Arenumberg places a vote of no confidence in the Leadership of the Mindsettian State, aswell as that of the Indran State, we hereby press for new leadership within the ESUS, to permanently assure this will not happen again!" She glanced sideways, and then seated herself.

Lisss' Koh was an ancient female Sskiss, once a brood mother - an epitome of strength and vitality, she was now a "forseer of things to come". Old with yellowing teeth and loose skin that hung in tatters on her belly and under her neck. Her aged body - lean and gristly, moved with a smooth grace as she watched and inspected each of the creche members "speakers to other" within a visual chamber.

"It has come as I have said once so long ago - The fracturing of the creche! The scattering of the pack!" She rumbled slowly and signaled "dire future".

Her consort, a youngling male merely cooed in sorrow and added modifiers of "Dire information heeded". "The future hunter looms with sharp teeth and claw upon the prey of the present!"

"Wisely spoken! Go Priip' Paak, gather the others, I will speak with the creche rulers of "weighty matters to be discussed". She heaved her aged body forward and set out for a long journey....
