"Tonight, we bring you important information regarding the Alliance. Today, for the first time, the Council of the Dark Alliance lifted the Order of Isolation for the first time in more than 45 years today.

A mixture of celebration and anxiety was apparent in the population, which has had no contact with worlds outside the Alliance, much less hundreds of merchant ships.

However, this new found freedom is not without it's restraints. Incoming foreign merchants are often the ones to complain about the Council's death grip on trading.

It is not that we take pleasure from isolation our great nation, said the spokesman, one of the seven Members of the Council. We impose isolation to make our great and powerful alliance invincible to those that seek it's destruction. It is by our hands, that the Alliance has survived, and the populous has chosen wisely to invest its trust into this great council.

The Council continually warns that the current situation could prove to be all too temporary. In the time we have spent observing our neighbors, it has become more clear that violence is rampant in this Galaxy, violence we desperately hope to contain.
