OOC: Be Ready, this is just a preview... Even my most trusted allies havn't heard about this yet...

Project: Dead-Ringer

There it lay, resplendent in its glory, every inch of seven feet long, the triple prong end still stained with the blood of its former master, even after over two millennia… Polished wood shining like the day it was made, even with the obvious signs of heavy use. This weapon, a pole arm, was the last remaining possession remaining of the greatest Dragon Knight to ever live, her most trusted tool, and it was also ironically, the very weapon that ended her life.

They had been lucky, the government had pulled strings and gotten the museum of Burmecian History to give them an hour looking over the weapon in person, it was the only way to get a sample of the DNA… A necessary piece of the project that Dr. Teragla had been assigned to carry out. She had entered the museum unchecked by security personnel, being escorted by a dragon knight team has that effect on people. She deactivated the temporal chamber, which kept the weapon frozen in time, and safe from the deterioration other objects went through in the normal procession of time.

Pulling out a swab, she took a sample of the blood still caked on the tip of the blade, and placed it in the jar, before taking out another, there would be no room for error, packing all five samples into a metal case, she saw something on the hilt, where the wooden shaft had splintered a bit, caught on the splinter were three strands of hair, she plucked them and placed them into another sample jar… Piece of cake… Placing the ancient weapon back into the special temporal chamber, she activated it and left, her prize in hand.
