Yeah, they're an FTL missile. They use my Slipstream drives.
Nations drown in turmoil
As blood is set upon soil
Peace is a lost dream
My sword is a merciless reality

The enemy creeps in darkness
And dwindles my people
My enemy turns worlds to deserts
With the heat of his enmity

Crimson seas call my name
Caves of death beckon me
The worlds have been doomed
Time has set itself against us

The redemption of my era
Will be brought about by fire
For I am the messiah of my age
Forgive me for the heavens torn asunder

So, shall we go ahead and make the topic, inform the Shivans, and start whooping ass? Or do we need more planning?

15 gigatons ain't much in this case, so unless they have big, volitile reactors in the middle, it probally won't do much.

I'm putting about a dozen of those babies in their core.

Now, should we make the topic!?!?

Hmm.. why bother will all those weapons?..

Let's send a small craft into subspace, let it be swarmed with the subspace nanites, get the ship back, put it in stasis then send it crashing into their worldships, the stasis field colapses and the nanites start doing their job..

They wont be able to say "Godmod", because it is their creation :)

Because that could have bad side effects...namely the nanites getting a base in this space. We don't exactly have a totally effective weapon against those buggers yet.

Dude, that's still going to do nothing.

For a terrestrial world the size of Neptune, it'd take 8.460E+15 gigatons to overcome it's gravitational binding energy (blow it apart without it's debris clumping back together), assuming that it had the density of hard granite. For something with the density of, say...ice, it'd be "only" 1.260E+15 gigatons. Give or take several thousand gigatons, since the thing isn't solid.

Why don't we just sheer through them with plasma weapons? Or, buy the Steel Plague nanites. We can get some of DGNT's normal nanites, 1 trillion USD for 1 quadrillion. Think of that. We could just swarm them into the inside of the ship, too small to detect individualy, and we can spread them out. They'd just rip through the ships.

Well, if i understand the nanites became (or were given) sentient.. we could try and contact them maybe? Risky but possibly worth the effort.. after all, the shivans escaped them, and may be wanting rematch.. :P

Or, we could attempt to put some in stasis, drop them in the Yarin system, but a slow time bubble over it, and use escape pods out of the time bubble, and FTL out of there. It IS in a different universe, so it's all ok. But if your worried, we could start building massive defenses outside of the bubble, coming in and out. If worst comes to worst... I can get some of DGNT's handy Matter Relocators. Turns everything in an area into a tiny little paperweight.
