Nice work.
No offense, but bugger off, this is a DOGA thread, darn you. Stop making me feel inadequate.

Seconded. Wormia, please refrain from posting off topic 3ds pics in a DoGa thread. Unless you want me to post that Doga puppy/man porn picture that Arenumberg posted in the 3ds thread...Arizona Nova wrote:Nice work.

On topic: AN, that is a really cool looking tank.

Thanks! Next up, the Nova Hyperion (or Hyperion Refit, but the other name sounds cooler...).Central Facehuggeria wrote:On topic: AN, that is a really cool looking tank.
I keep having problems, though, with the PNG custom textures. What I do is that I put my flag into a square shape and save it as a PNG. I make the flag a custom texture, and then put the flag onto a flat square shape, and then "bolt" the square onto a flat surface on my ships. However, even if I match the color the square still manages to stand out because of it's different density, while using transparencies makes the square ultra-shiny when rendered, making it stand out more. Anyone have a solution to this conundrum?

Presenting... the Grey Ops! Rendered in all it's glory, with my special idea of what a Kanuckistani MFP-330 would look like in DOGA! 7,348 polygons total.

Wow. That's good. You make my humanoid doga projects look like crap.
Edit; For comparison:
The "Battlemaster" Strategic Powered Assault Power Armor
And here's his gun, because you can't see it when he's carrying it on his back.

I actually made the person a couple months ago, and when I started he was standing quite stiffly at attention, awkwardly grasping a sniper-rifle-ish thing. However, I had made a render of the Kanuckistani MFP-330 Carbines a while ago, and tonight finally put two and two together and added the gun to the guy. A little twisting of the arms, and bending of other joints (on the suggestion of my roommate) and voila. I wanted the platform in there to get the shadow in as well.
In any case, that is a very nice gun CF. The outline of it is hard to make out against the black, but I'd sure hate to come up against anyone using it in a dark alley. As for the armor, you could put it in a factory like background or make one using the DOGA parts to make it look more natural. Besides that, just making it have a very slight pose would make it look much more natural. Other than that, you could try making it a multi-joint object, but thats such a pain in the butt anyway. I've tried before and failed miserably, so I just tweak the individual parts.
EDIT: POST 333! OMR
